Heyes and Evie ~ Their Song

The clear winner for the official song for Evie and Heyes is "Far Away" by Nickelback.  The song will automatically play whenever you visit my blog, but if this is distracting and you don't want to hear it just go to the player in the side bar and hit the pause button or slide the volume bar all the way to the bottom and it will be muted.  I have also added a soundtrack player so it will be easy to listen to any of the selections from any page.
I'll try to keep the list updated as I add more songs.  Hope you enjoy it.

Peace and love,
Karen :')

  1. I'm loving the playlists! It puts a nice atmosphere on the blog to hear their song play. And the picture choices for them are good too ;')

  2. I love the music and the pictures you chose. Especially the one of the couple embracing. I really like that picture. Could you tell me where I could find it so I can add it to my collection of Hannibal Heyes pictures.

  3. I'm soooo glad y'all like it. It took me a while to figure out how to do it. I had to get out the old triple 'H'(Hannibal Heyes hat) so I could channel his brain power to pull it off. And it worked of course. ;') Glenda, I went to Google search and typed in "lovers embrace" and selected 'images' and it was one of many images that popped up. Just scroll down until you see it. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll email it to you. Thanks you guys for sticking with me on this incredible journey.

  5. I like it too. And having seen the picture larger, I'm still marveling at how very Heyes-like the man's arms and fingers are... Maybe I'm just seeing what my mind so desires to see, but it looks just like Heyes and Evie to me!

  6. i KNOW!!!! I swear there a forces unseen guiding me to pictures and songs that go so perfectly with this story. As soon as I saw it, I thought his arms looked so like Peter's. The same build and everything, And the girl fits Evie's description so well. And the two of them clinging to each other...'sigh" I just had to use it. You're not just seeing what you want to see, Clarissa. I see it too. And I too am amazed and loving it.

  7. I see it too! Peter had really long fingers and where the picture shows his fingers tilting into her hair it looks just like Pete's fingers. Watching "The Day They Hanged Kid Curry", Heyes at the black jack table when Wheat and Kyle walk in you can see the way Pete moves the cards with his fingers, "sigh" such a lovely thing to watch how he moved his hands. He always had a habit of rubbing his stomach.

  8. Are we all obsessed or what? I've noticed too that he is always rubbing or stroking something. One of my favorites is from "Red Gap" when Kid is telling Powers why they don't want to take the money and go to South America, he is tormenting the base of the brandy snifter with his middle finger. It absolutely drives me CRAZY!!

  9. Hehe. I love to watch those hands... How Pete sticks out a middle finger a tiny bit when he gestures while talking, the split fingered way they lay when he puts his hand on his hip, the fact that they're always moving and doing something, never just still. And those hands are beautiful in gloves, without gloves, with and without rings. I think I could go on all day about this... lol Ohh how fun it is to be obsessed with you all!!! :-)

  10. I do too! "Sigh". I also love the way he walks. He has a gait that I have never seen before. In "Something To Get Hung About", I love the way he walks back toward Kid and Jim Stokley after setting up the bottles behind the livery stable. He has a bounce in his walk when he claps his hands together. I just love that; and it gives me goose bumps. I loved when Karen put that in the Candy Man Video for Halloween. That walk makes my day! "SIGH"....

  11. I'm right there with you, Glenda. My favorite walk however is in "Apache Springs" when he's walking towards Mrs. Fielding at the end. That one is a jaw-dropper and a lip-licker. If I may quote Miss Lorene "What a man!"
